Ethics in research

Filming Lab is a project that considers ethical principles and good research practices to be fundamental. In alignment with these principles, the design, development, management, utilisation and dissemination of this study have been orientated to ensure the preservation of fundamental rights, the promotion of gender equality, and the provision of information and education to citizens. This approach is intended to guarantee a responsible and transparent process with the participants and stakeholders. The adoption of an ethical dimension also involves the creation of a reflective space around these values, guidelines, and principles, to make decisions and interact on multiple levels over the course of these four years. Filming Lab receives advice and guidance from the Ethics Committee of the University of Granada which structures, informs, and monitors compliance with ethical standards for scientific research, in accordance with the legislation of the European Community, the Spanish State, and the control and monitoring decrees under the competence of the Andalusian Autonomous Community.
